The following Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all participants (“Participants”) of the Pledge with Merris Photo Contest (“Contest”) organized by SOP Foods Sdn. Bhd. (“Organizer”). By participating in this Contest, Participants agree to be bound by these T&C.
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 18 years and above at the time of entry.
1.2 Employees of SOP Foods, its affiliates, advertising/PR agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period
2.1 The Contest will run from 21 September 2025 to 27 September 2025 (“Contest Period”).
2.2 Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be entertained.
3. How to Participate
3.1 To join, Participants must:
• Take a creative photo at the Pledge with Merris Wall during the Contest Period.
• Upload the photo on Facebook.
• Tag Merris Official Facebook page and include the hashtag #PledgewithMerris in the caption.
3.2 Each Participant may submit multiple entries, but only one prize will be awarded per Participant.
4. Prizes
4.1 A total of 5 winners will be selected to win cash prizes up to RM 250.
4.2 The Organizer reserves the right to determine the prize distribution among winners.
4.3 All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for other items.
5. Winner Selection & Announcement
5.1 Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme at the Organizer’s sole discretion.
5.2 Winners will be announced on 30 September 2025 via the Merris Official Facebook page.
5.3 Winners will also be contacted via Facebook message to claim their prize.
5.4 Winners must respond within 7 days of notification; otherwise, the Organizer reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select another winner.
6. Rights & Ownership
6.1 By entering the Contest, Participants grant the Organizer the right to use, reproduce, publish, and display their submitted photos, names, and likenesses for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes without compensation.
6.2 SOP Foods reserves the right to publish the winners’ photos on the Merris Official Facebook page.
6.3 Participants confirm that submitted photos are original and do not infringe on any third-party rights.
7. Liability & Responsibility
7.1 The Organizer will not be held responsible for:
• Any technical errors, lost or late entries, or failures of internet/social media platforms.
• Any accidents, injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or use of prizes.
7.2 Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation.
8. General
8.1 The Organizer reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Contest or these T&C at any time without prior notice.
8.2 The Organizer’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest is final and binding.
8.3 This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
